Throughout 2025, Latter-day Saint youth ages 11 to 18 years will be encouraged to “look unto Christ.”The Young Women and Young Men General Presidencies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who oversee the Church’s programs for youth, announced Tuesday, September 17, that the 2025 youth theme is “Look unto Christ” from the scripture Doctrine and Covenants 6:36, which reads, “Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.”

Parents and youth leaders are encouraged to teach principles from the theme at home and at church throughout the year. The theme can be used as a topic for Sunday meeting talks given by youth and can provide focus for youth activities, including camps, youth conferences and devotionals. The theme will be emphasized during For the Strength of Youth (FSY) conferences and worldwide youth devotionals. As everyone has met the youth in the Midvalley 3rd Ward, it is easy to see just how extraordinary they are. Each of them are special in their own way. The youth are the future of our church and as they “Look unto Christ,” they will continue develop a strong faith in our Savior.

Throughout the year, we would like to spotlight the young women in our ward and give everyone a chance to see how amazing they are. Look for that in upcoming newsletters!
